Wonderful Beers & Great Food
This is another of our go to places in Hood River. With its access to the waterfront, fabulous beer and cider, and terrific interesting foods, who needs anything more? Last night my husband and I shared their pickled plate that we both loved especially the pickles the sauerkraut & carrots. I particularly enjoyed their new Japanese cabbage dish. We shared their go to Gluten Free Rock Fish and chips with a yummy coleslaw. My husband absolutely enjoyed their new beer offerings, their own delicious Hefeweizen! Definitely try this place!

First Lunch In Oregon
After arriving in Hood River, we were looking for a place to rendezvous with our friends and enjoy a late lunch. A quick Yelp search lead me to pFriem Family Brewers. While we waited for a table, we took advantage of the little side bar for beers (them) and wine for me. The location near the Hood River Waterfront Park provided a beautiful view while we waited and sipped our drinks. When seated, 3 of us ordered the fish and chips and the other chose the shrimp roll. For dessert, I ordered the cherry tart to share with the table. That was the best bite of the meal. The atmosphere was nice. Service was a little slow, but it wasn't a big deal because we were enjoying the fellowship. We'd all return if given the chance.

Put PFRIEM on your list!!
Wow! This was a great experience! We are locals but never ventured down to the port to eat. That was our mistake! Service at PFriem was fantastic, and the food was top notch. Ken has the best… amazing. And I had the pork and Mac salad.. unbelievable! We’ll be back soon! Oh and their beers were refreshing!

Come for food, stay for beer
The food was amazing! Yes this is a brewery but do yourself a favor and get something to eat. We had the fish and chips which was lightly breaded, not greasy, and a wonderful lemon pepper flavor. Also enjoyed the quinoa and kale dish that didn’t skimp on flavor. It had a lemon vinaigrette and something spicy with it too. One of the meals I will forever remember and dream about. Note on the beer side: they don’t advertise it but they offer a flight of 6 beers for $20. A great way to sample lots of options.

Busy, Excellent Brewery
Busy, Tasty brewery on the waterfront in Hood River. We arrived at 430 on a Sunday and it was hopping! We were told it would be 20-25 min, so we went to their take-out window for beer/cider, and table was ready in under 15min! Waitresses were excellent. I had Korean pulled pork sandwich which was superb! Hubby had the fish and chips: they were well fried and the fries were excellent also!
