This brewpub at Orenco Station in Hillsboro features a wide selection of Mazama Brewing beers as well as many lunch, dinner and brunch options. Try the burgers, house made Mazama bratwurst, or fish tacos with beer battered cod. For brunch, enjoy omelets, croissant French toast or biscuits and gravy with brunch drinks including a Bloody Mary or a bottomless Mazamosas.

About Mazama Brewing:

Mazama Brewing Co. is an independent, family owned and operated craft brewery. It was founded in Corvallis, Oregon in 2012 and the first beers were sold out of their taproom on May 31, 2013.

Mazama prides itself on making true to style European beers. The beers feature traditional and quality ingredients that are locally sourced to create smooth and dynamic flavors. Their beer list is approachable to novices and connoisseurs alike.

Good fish and chips, fast food atmosphere

Good fish and chips. Fish had a crisp batter and the fries were lightly seasoned. I didn't try the beer. The atmosphere was pretty sterile. It wasn't obvious that they served food when I walked in. The woman behind the bar handed me a card with instructions...seat yourself, scan the QR code at the table, place your order at the hostess station. So friendly! I did all of the above and was asked if I wanted to settle the tab then....didn't look like a fast food joint...

I found them online. Decided to give them a try as I was passing through Hillsboro. Good atmosphere. had the fish and chips dinner and it was some of the best that I have had. Batter was unique..Highly recommend the Mazamnator beer although the other flavors were all good, If I travel through the area I will diffentely stop for another meal and of course another craft beer. cheers to the restaurant and Derek

Local and yet cosmopolitan

Yes. This is a brewery that serves food.....really good food with a northern Italian Swiss flavor. The chef and sous chefs are given the opportunity to innovate with nice results. About 98% of the dishes are made from scratch and can be paired with their Belgian style beers. The servings are generous and beautifully plated. The surroundings are pleasant and welcoming along with patio seating (dogs welcome ). Our first visit consisted of shrimp and grits with tomato jam and bacon ..bacon and egg sandwich with 3X cooked potatoes ....so good. The return visit was duck meatloaf,mazama Mac and cheese , and fish and chips. These dishes were excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

First impressions were elevated due to the speed in which they responded to my facebook messenger inquiry about meal options. Friends were looking for new possibilities, and when looking on our phones, the website was either having issues, or the info wasn't there. Reached out on FB Messenger, and got answers within minutes. We'll be heading there shortly to eat, and will provide more info afterwards. July 02, 2019 Arrived at 1750. Stayed until just before 2000. Steak Frites were delicious, as was my wife's choice of burger. Steak Frites had a cherry BBQ, which I'm glad I asked for on the side. I'm not a cherry fan, but a little on the steak was excellent. The amount that I would have gotten on the dish would have been too much for me. Your Milage WILL vary. I went with a golden Blonde for my beer, and my wife went with a blackcurrant cider. Friends both ordered Saisons, which they both enjoyed. Appetisers were ok. Friends ordered pickled eggs, which they liked. The beer cheese was just meh. Would order again for the bread, but would hope for a more robust cheesy dip. The restaurant is relatively new, having opened in the late Spring of 2019, and provides friendly, excellent service. Very empty, but it was also a Tuesday night, with a holiday weekend approaching. We live in the area, and when walking our dog, we always see people hanging out there, so it is picking up some business, which I'm happy to see.

Weekend brunch review

They open at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday and serve their brunch menu until 3 pm. We arrived just before noon on Saturday and there was no wait and plenty of seating in the bar and in the dining room. We had the fried chicken Benedict, thrice cooked potatoes and grilled cheese sandwich with ham and French fries. All were very good, and on the expensive side, but everything is made there and very fresh, so there is definitely added expense for that. Fries and potatoes were addictively good. The Benedict was very flavorful- great seasoning on the chicken. Great to know there is another brunch option nearby. Would definitely return- nice setting and good see.
