Disappointed
First time in Astoria in a long time and looking forward to real (fresh/local) fish & chips. I ordered the 3 piece rock fish & my husband ordered the prawn basket. Priced somewhat higher than most, there was more than enough food in one meal for 2. But I didn't care for the strong flavor of the fish. (I've caught and eaten rockfish before, and this was not mild flavored.) Both of us agreed the prawns tasted better. Great, friendly service with a nice view of the river, but not enough of an incentive for a return visit.

Great food neat atmosphere.
We had a late dinner at Astoria Brewing Company and the service was excellent. The food was very good and it was a very nice atmosphere. I highly recommend Astoria Brewing Company.

Nice outdoor seating area overlooking the Columbia River
We decided to try some local cider and watch the freight ships and water activities from the restaurant patio outside. The shrimp and Rockfish lunches we ordered were slightly over cooked, but the cider was tasty with a pleasant atmosphere

Excellent burger and o-rings
This restaurant is very close to the water. Friendly people. We had an excellent burger and o-rings. The BBQ pork sandwich was very good. Their marionberry lemonade was outstanding. Service was fine, they don't take tips for servers, it's included in menu price.

Expensive small portions
Expensive. Small portions. $20 for a burger. $18 for Mac and Cheese without meat. $12 for soup. Two of four people had to stop at the grocery store after eating here because the portions were so small. I ordered clam chowder but it was potato soup. Could not find any clamp in it.
