The vibe in the place was excellent, the service was good and there was room between tables. Go there on a night when they play trivia. The place rocks. The salad was good, fresh and of good size. The thing that pulled the evaluation down was the beer. I found them without much character and not well-finished. Adequate but not memorable.
Tasty beer and food
Crowded for a reason- good food and drinks and a friendly atmosphere. I would love to try their breakfast next visit!
Stopped here to get some chicken wings and they were excellent. It's a nice clean and popular place for locals as well. Wifi is available too. Stop and eat here
Make it a point to go here
We stayed at the Motel across the street and decided on 1188 for dinner. We split a French dip and a huge Bavarian pretzel with cheese sauce. Both were excellent! I tried 2 hard ciders on the menu, they were both awesome. The bf had 3 beers all were Gam Sams (#8), he liked. We took 2 each chocolate chip and lemon lavender cookies with us. OMG so good!! The next morning, our first choice for breakfast (we typically only eat once in the same restaurant in a location we're only staying one night) was closed, so back we went to 1188. I had the Denver omelet, the bf, sausage and eggs. Again, great service and really good food. Loved this place.
Bar with an Interesting Backstory
We needed breakfast before hitting the road at 7:30AM. This was the only place in town that was open. Good basic offerings. Coffee wasn't hot and neither was the water for tea.
