Wild Yeast Bakery bakes local organic grains into delicious artisan bread.

Wild Yeast was founded by April and Craig Hall Cutting in 2013 to provide locally produced naturally fermented (sourdough) bread to Corvallis and the surrounding communities. They make their breads and pastry products with locally and organically grown whole and lightly sifted grain .

Using local and regional ingredients supports farmers growing food crops and keeps money flowing closer to home. Organic farming methods improve soil health so fields can be productive for years to come. 

In 2022 the bakery moved to downtown Corvallis and serves organic coffee and tea as well as bread and pastries. Breads are sold at local Farmers’ Markets, First Alternative Co-op Stores, served at local restaurants, and are available by direct order
