this is was the best experience of our trip so far!! me, my husband, (and even our pup pup), had so much fun. we came right after labor day weekend and we had the slopes all to ourselves! renting the board… 24hrs for $18 is a deal that can’t be beat! The owner of the shop was amazing! super helpful and kind. Totally recommend this for couples, families, or literally anyone looking for a good time!

It’s not snow!
I’ve been up and down the coast a few times and whether you’re into board sports or not, Sand Master Park is a must when you’re in Florence. Prices are super fair, and the crew here is awesome — laid-back, friendly, and stoked to help you out whether you’re a seasoned rider or it’s your very first time on the sand. The dunes are an unreal playground. Sandboarding feels kind of like surfing or wakeboarding with a bit of snowboarding.. but it’s not snow! Carving down the dunes is pure fun. You can rent a board or sled, take a lesson, or just dive right in — there’s something here for every skill level. Honestly, it’s one of the most unique and fun rides I’ve had on the coast. Definitely worth a stop — you won’t regret it.

Great service, welcoming atmosphere & friendly staff!! They were super helpful & got me setup quickly. I would definitely recommend Sand Master Park to anyone looking for awesome, inexpensive fun! Will definitely be coming back again!!

Important Note: This is a cash-only business — and unfortunately, that’s not listed on their website. When we first visited to rent a sandboard or sled, the woman at the counter was surprisingly unfriendly, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. We went through all the rental questions and paperwork, only to find out at the end that they only accept cash — and there’s no ATM on site. It was very inconvenient, especially since this important detail wasn’t mentioned online. Thankfully, my son was still able to get a board in the end, but the process could have been much smoother with clearer communication and a more welcoming attitude.
