Damascus Fiber Arts School

Original 1 room schoolhouse (1876) in the old Damascus settlement on Foster-Barlow Road. One of the oldest rural schoolhouses standing in the state and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Expanded to 2 rooms in 1911. Classes in textile crafts Tue-Thu 10am-3pm, and Sat workshops. Come see shows of student and faculty tapestry and knitting. Located a few hundred feet south of the Center of Damascus and Hwy 212. Visitors welcome.
