Historic hotel with pretty river view
Wonderful staff in an older hotel; surely it was once the lap of luxury. Restaurant food (we had 3 meals there) was all delicious with glorious views of the river. Comfortable bed, all the amenities were fine for such a historic hotel. The only drawbacks were 1) our riverview room had a very small window, not really much of a view (old construction) and 2) interstate I-84 runs right by the hotel which means constant highway noise. Neither of these things actually bothered us, but I'm noting it here in case it might bother you.

Great Time at the Columbia Gorge
Loved our stay at the Columbia Gorge (maybe not the elevator :-). We especially enjoyed happy hour at the Valentino Lounge and Evelyn’s fine service!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was our 37 year anniversary. The view was stunning. The rooms are very nice. We will definitely stay here again.

Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa
I can’t say enough about the Columbia Gorge Hotel. It is absolutely a beautiful historic piece of property. The interior is not modern which just adds to the historic old Hollywood feel of the property. The many ducks on property were so fun to watch in their little habitat! We will absolutely return again. Crossing my fingers that my daughter will want to get married there some day!
