Fabulous, Worth the time
The museum was filled with much historical weaponry, and nautical items. It was a very pleasant surprise and well worth the time and is very affordable. They have a 75 caliber cannon from the Civil War. Great find!

Amazing museum in a very small town
A wonderful place to spend 2 hours in a town of less than 1000 people. You will learn about Garibaldi's history with lumber and fishing businesses. A highlight is being exposed to the role played by Captain Robert Gray and his ships, Columbia Rediviva and Lady Washington, in the discovery of the Columbia River for America before Lewis and Clark came to the Pacific Northwest. Interesting displays on the Coast Guard, Native Americans and guns. A lot of model ships to see.

Well worth the visit!!
One needs to take at least an hour to two+ hours to really get its full value. The docent and others work very hard to make it informative and unique. You'll leave there much smarter.

Amazing little museum
We visited this museum as a lark, because the weather was raining cats and dogs! History of the area, explorers, logging in the area. A number of guns on display, a native American section and an area for kids to play. Very clean, lots of user friendly videos. A worth while stop for the whole family.

Nice, nice museum
We are very impressed with this little museum and recommend it to our friends when they come to visit. We go every year to visit it. The displays are informative and they have some hands on displays.
