Smallest cozy little room I've been in so far
We were there the week of Valentine's Day so of course the prices would be hiked up like all hotels. We got the cheapest room which was the smallest hotel room i've ever stayed in. Being so small it did get nice and cozy and the heater did heat the room nicely. It worked for the purpose of being a room for sleeping, but for 2 people with one luggage each it was pretty tight. Still a nice place. Would stay again, maybe not at a holiday time so the prices would be cheaper, and I could get a room with a view. If I had that room as my only choice I would still take it as well. Nice view around the back of the building. Easy access to the beach.

So Close To Being Perfect But Still Not There
Want so badly to give a better review but I honestly just cannot...Pool is always cold and no hot tub...was looking forward to the hot tub...Walk to Casino is always close but first time bringing family so the pool and arcade was our go to...Arcade is small but has a lot of good games...kids did enjoy that...but the pool was so cold...Adjoining room was great and gave everyone privacy...a little old and run down but clean...chairs need to be replaced and more comfortable...views are stunning...Not sure about bringing family back...

Chinook Winds Casino Resort Hotel violates federal ADA laws
We have always stayed here with our service dogs and the hotel has a record of this. After our stay in March 2025 the hotel charged my credit card a $250 pet fee without notice to me. I disputed this for over 6 months with my Wells Fargo Visa and Chinook Winds Casino Resort Hotel and was not refunded my money. I had to take my complaint to small claims court and I did prevail. I was awarded $585 total for the case and am still waiting for payment. If they had just credited back the $250 they stole from me it would have put an end to everything. What morons, now they lost regular playing customers who came to this casino at least 10 times a year and spent well over $250.

Stay away from Chinook Winds Hotel and Casino
What a terrible experience overall. Website and front desk both made it appear that the rooms were attached to the casino. They are not. I also made it very clear we were traveling with an elderly handicapped person. The room they gave us had multiple stairs and no elevator. It was old and stuffy. After an hour of going back and forth they gave us another room which had elevator service and was much nicer but smelled of cigarettes in a nonsmoking room. The food service was horrendous with little options and way overpriced. Received our drinks after our food and one person didn't get their drink at all after multiple requests. Travelers beware! Chinook Winds is not at all what it appears to be. When I challenged the front desk about all my concerns, they said "sorry people complain about these things all the time". After spending over $600 there for food and a room we felt ripped off...

A pleasant stay.
My husband & I stayed two nights in the Junior Suites. The ADA 3rd floor room was spacious, comfortable, & welcoming. Everything worked, so no issues with TV, fireplace, etc. There’s a serious lack of handicap parking spaces, a significant concern. Shuttle isn’t accessible for walkers or canes. The casino is thankfully smoke-free, with the exception of an enclosed slots area for puffers. Slots weren’t generous & my Players Club card wouldn’t work most of the time, so my points rarely accumulated. It’s surprising there is no sundries shop, a place to grab snacks, toiletries, a newspaper, aspirin, etc. The overall experience was fine, though.
