I tried to stay at this location. While I was out my room was cancelled and I was told by staff to go to a different room. They told me I could come back and get it the next morning. When I went back I was told that they don't have anything and I should come back later. They stole my green backpack, my clothes, Nintendo Switch, iPad, and EVERYTHING I HAD IN THE ROOM.

Don't stay here ! It's disgusting and not safe
I stayed here for a medical emergency therevwas no hot water so finally changed rooms inpaid $100 for a $60 listed room as I was leaving I stripped the bed to find a huge shard of glass my daughter had slept on . The middle of the bed was broken so we couldnt even sleep ! Shannon jerked me around all evening stating I would get a refund not to leave a bad review to find out 4 hrs later "they can't do anything " there is homeless living in cars in parking lot. Drug dealers staying there hanging out dealing in the parking lot and prostitution obviously happening ! If I wouldn't have been in a emergency I would have never had stayed there . The rooms do not look anything like the typical motel 6 rooms just putrid! Go down the street to the next 1 ! Look at the gross body fluids on the bed I slept on ! Besides the glass !

I normally read reviews before booking stays, but foolishly trusted our experience of other Motel 6 stays. Having now read other reviews, so many really ‘chime’ with our own experience. The no-smoking room stank of stale cigarettes, although the room was tidy, nothing was particularly ‘clean’. TV didn’t work, wireless was non-existent and the pool grimey (I counted at least 4 cigarette buts floating on the surface). Generally felt unsafe although the location fairly good for exploring Portland. Only plus point was being right next door to a fantastic brewery with great food.

Avoid if possible run down and tired
Not a good hotel, the room was run down and very tired and the bed sheets had stains on them. The air conditioner was noisy. The area was bad lots of prostituties and deros in the area and nearby, the pool not available didn’t look like it had been used in years. Would not recommend

Refused to give back our deposit for smoking in the room. I dont smoke!
Motel 6 Portland Oregon Southeast location we stayed for three nights. We were warned of the smoking policies 3 times and to not spray in perfumes. Even tho it smelled like burnt curry in the office. She warned me no visitors three times and so I repeated the warnings so she would know I got it and was listening.. Not once did she smile or let me know where the ice machine was where the coke machine was or where I could find my room. All warnings... So at the end of 3 days with housekeeping on the 2nd day she said we could not have are deposit back because there were smoking stains on the bed!! I dont smoke and we slept on top of the bed covered by our own bedding. I was so upset.. They tried to lie when I disputed the keeping of the deposit. and i got it back . When I went to the property to retrieve my deposit they lied tried not to give it again and told me I was no longer welcome there. I got my deposit back thanks to complaining to cooperate. Funny it didnt smell like burnt curry in their office anymore hahaha!! They are scammers and should never run a motel 6.
