Would not recommend

Check in was fine , shuttle was good. The room is the noisiest room I’ve ever been in!! The exhaust fan is horrendous!! A On constantly. Dinner took over two hours for a sandwich and a salad, quality about a 4. I’ve called the front desk six times in 30 minutes to schedule the shuttle but no answer!! Really disappointed!!!

Dingy and Dirty

The check in staff was friendly and helpful, and I was able to get early check in considering I left I terrible experience at a downtown Holiday Inn. While I appreciated the early check in, the room was really gross. Stained carpet, dusty towel cubbies, broken AC unit, one towel per person and the restaurant that was supposed to open at 5PM never opened. There is nothing within walking distance and the neighborhood is very sketchy. I can scratch this one off my list for my next return to Portland.

Clean, but room is bright with headlights. Limited Wi-Fi.

It's OK. Clean. Staff was friendly and airport shuttle was fine. However, there are no blackout curtains. They have thick valances on the side, but no way to block the headlights entering your room. If you like a dark room, bring an eyeshade. Also, the wifi didn't work for my Android Phone or Chromebook. (Kid's Amazon Fire Tablet worked fine and folks with apple devices seemed to A OK.)

Yuk!

Yuk! I’m a Flight Attendant and stay in a lot of hotels and this hotel is awful. Horribly stained carpet I wouldn’t let my feet touch. I wore flip flops while in my room. Decor is so dated, dark and depressing. You will regret if you stay here. I can’t believe that Holiday Inn puts their brand on this hotel.

A Bit Dated But Good Hotel Near Airport

I was looking for a reasonable hotel near the airport. This Holiday Inn was that. The price was good. The hotel is a bit older, but it was clean and everything worked. We had no issues at all. I do think the $16 per person for breakfast is a bit much for the typical breakfast served for free at all other Holiday Inns in most places. It's just a few minutes from the airport so was easy to get to and from the airport. Everything else about the hotel was fine. Hot water in the showers when you needed it. Clean comfortable beds, though they were double beds not queens. All in all a good hotel for the price.
