Amid the unpredictability of travel, it is good to know there’s a hotel you can count on to deliver an experience that feels just right. The Dalles Fairfield Inn and Suites offers the quality and consistency guests expect at a value they can appreciate.

We stayed here for four nights and had a delightful stay. Virtually every single staff member was friendly and polite, our room was sparkling clean and quite comfortable, and breakfast was great. This is a fairly new hotel and this type of quality was sorely needed in town. It's set back a bit farther from the freeway, so even the parking lot is fairly quiet. It's an easy short drive into town. Although we did not bring our dog, they welcome pets. They also have a very pleasant grassy 'back yard' area for kids to play, and a nice fireplace/patio area as well. The pool is indoor, although a bit small, it is open - unlike many other lodgings which did not reopen their pools after the Covid shutdown. We'll stay here again :-)
Stayed here for a few nights while attending a wedding in nearby Hood River. Loved the room, felt very comfortable. Room & bath looked nice, and no weird smells (don't underestimate the importance of that one!). I don't want a room that smells like perfume or chemicals-- and Fairfield Marriott delivered. Polite & helpful staff, too. I recommend this hotel.
We stayed here one night last month. We were able to check-in about 30 mins early, which was nice. Ample parking and fresh cookies and lemon water available at check-in. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. I've stayed here before and prefer the room facing North for the better view of both the parking lot and the Gorge. The breakfast is amazing. They had a lot of fresh options and also had both gluten-free (cereal) and dairy free (milk and yogurt) options. We all found something. Plus, there was available staff. I wish they had more garbage cans as they filled up fast. My only complaint is for a room for 3 people we only had 2 wash clothes and 2 hand towels. If the room can sleep 4, it would be great to have that amount of items. Also, my kiddo always appreciates a pool, but be aware that the pool is quite small and only allows a max of 10 peeps. We ended up leaving when the room filled to 10+. This is a great option for The Dalles and is walking distance to a few restaurants and easy on/off the freeway or to downtown. Friendly staff and a nice little store up front with affordable options of drinks and snacks.
Rugs look brand new, and everything in perfect shape. Good shower., good bed, great staff. Etc. My wife liked everything. The breakfast had gluten free cereal. The stafff helped with a restaurant selection and even a 10 per cent off cOupon
I’ve had many complimentary breakfasts, and the fairfield has by far the best complimentary breakfast I’ve seen In town, they really have a better quality selection. Thanks Fairfield! My daughter and I look forward to staying with you again soon.
