It's fine. Not a good choice for light sleepers.
I stayed here on the way to somewhere else because it was convenient. I think there are better options for the price. No free breakfast in the morning. Bed was not awful but wasn't comfortable either. There is road and train noise. They provided earplugs in my room with a sign offering a box fan and white noise machine, so clearly there have been lots of complaints. The room was clean and seemed well kept up. There aren't a whole lot of options right in the area, but I think next time I will search for something better.

Nice location- new rooms- eat elsewhere.
Descent enough for lodging- staff was ok- newly renovated areas are nice. Kitchen is horrible- the food is blah. Not horrible tasting but no originality or creativity.. it’s like a school cafeteria. I had a breakfast burrito and threw most of it away- it’s basically a tortilla filled with deep fried potato and some chopped fake egg material- yuck.

Dumpy hotel, mean staff, insulted by C. Anderson
Avoid this hotel! Plenty of hotels up there and this one is dumpy with mean staff. Stayed at the hotel because my son’s soccer team was staying there to play the Timbers the following morning. We had a large group. In my room 205 between 4 and 5am, some device on the wall above the bed, perhaps a smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector, became a flashing strobe light bright enough to hit the curtains on the other side of the room. Matt at front desk said he gets complaints about that mis-function with some regularity and apologized. He said C. Anderson, the operations manager, would contact me the next week. C. Anderson didn’t. When I contacted C. Anderson, he said it’s just the normal operation of the device and it could not possibly flash in a green strobe pattern. (Basically, he said I’m making it up.) Before posting this review, I see K. Powell (someone I don’t know) 5 months ago had the same issue and posted a 1 star revenue on Google. C. Anderson, is K. Powell also making this up? The good news for me is my son’s team plays the Timbers 2-3 times per year and travel with the u15 and u17 team. So between the two teams, coaches and parents, C. Anderson has lost the hotel a good amount of money.

Good Mid-Tier Option, Beware of Construction and Train
I stayed at the Courtyard for a week when I had to be out of my house for a few days. It's a very nice hotel if you are looking for that mid-tier range place that's above staying at a Motel 6, but below staying at the Marriott downtown or one of the Kimpton properties. Room is very clean, with a comfortable bed and a mini fridge. No microwave, but you can request they put one in your room (which I did since I was there for so long). The shower was also roomy and had nice pressure coming out, with the water not super hot or lukewarm. The hotel lobby is pretty large, and includes a nice bar to sit at, as well as general tables if you need to do work or meet with a client if you are here for business. No swimming pool, but nice fitness center. Staff was overall friendly, helpful and pleasant. Location is tucked away in a quiet Beaverton business park, close to Washington Square Mall and the 217 freeway. Starbucks, pizza, Panda Express, a walking path and a lake are all a short walk away from the hotel. I dock a star for two things: 1. They are currently under construction and this was never stated anywhere when I booked a room. While they provide ear plugs and warn you of the times work is being done, it is still loud. 2. There is a railroad track close to the hotel, and the train can be very loud.

Under Construction.
Interior rennovations are complete and lovely...no lingering paint or glue smells. In late July they are still replacing the exterior siding. Equipment & dumpsters use half of the parking space. Workmen busy 9-5 Monday through Saturday so you will hear hammering and drills in your room during the day. Marriott was totally mute about this remodel work on their website and in the reservation confirmation email. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. No longer a pool at this Courtyard and the "yard" will need a rennovation after the remodel is done.
