Stayed in the Storm King 19. Nice house for our group of 7 as everyone had their own bed/mattress. Enjoyed the fire pit and jacuzzi after each day on the slopes at Mt Bachelor. Only 25 minutes from the resort and within 10 minutes of many restaurants in Bend. Kitchen provided the necessary utensils for cooking meals.
The Solomon restaurant was not open, so really only had one restaurant option which is the row. It wasn’t bad. The plug-ins in the rooms are very flimsy so to charge your phone or something. It was kind of hard. We stayed two nights and thought we would get our linens such as our towels and stuff replaced as well as our beds made but nobody came somaybe they don’t do it if you’re staying two nights? We also needed our coffee replenished which they did when we called and asked, but again we thought they would come in and do those things. The staff was very friendly. I do feel it was overpriced for what you got.
Terrible - our room was small and noisy with no view. I asked to pay extra and upgrade to a new room. Was told I had to come back in the morning. Returned in the morning to ask for upgrade and waited in the lobby for over 20 minutes with no help or “be with you soon” acknowledgment. Then decided to check out early. Was told we would not get any refund and they did not even ask why we wanted to leave. We have stayed there many times and visit the restaurant often. Never again. Basic customer service would have solved all of this but multiple staff members dropped the ball. The worst part is when I expressed this to staff they had a “so what” attitude. They must be making so much money that caring is not important.
This is such a beautiful Resort! I stayed in a King Suite with a view of the Cascades and the Golf Course. The room was spotless and the finishes were top tier! The stay was peaceful and relaxing during a very stressful time! This is the third time I have booked here and this time in particular, I received 5 Star customer service from the staff! I stayed for 7 nights and it felt like home! Can’t wait to Return again!!!
Excellent resort... quiet, nice location, good food, good service and serene atmosphere. This will be the top of my list if we return to Bend.
