AVOID: Cash-poor or super cheap management won't hire more staff to clean rooms. 40 minutes to check in with ONE person at front desk, 8 parties waiting. Next day I noticed same problem. Dangerous fire hazards (bedlamps and broken fireplace in room). Filthy glassware Eroding cabinets in bathroom Very nice staff signed NDA's so cannot explain terrible problems. 12 year old mattress They had 4 maids for the entire property, they never cleaned our room in 3 nights.
Fantastic location. The views were great, the room was large, the staff were soooo nice! I would highly recommend this place!
The location is beautiful and it’s close to downtown Bend. But I was extremely disappointed by the quality of the rooms. When I first arrived, the overhead lights were not working. Maintenance was there for an hour then it reached 10pm so they promptly left since his shift was over and they decided to fix it the next day. Then I discover most of the electrical outlets in the room don’t work either. I tried 6 different outlets and only 2 of the 6 worked. To cap it off, when I tried to shower before bed after a long day of travel, I turn the knob for hot water and the knob falls off. In summary, great location but the rooms were in terrible shape. For the price of the rooms, it was flat out bad. I’ve stayed at better 2 star and 3 star hotels where at least everything in the room is in working condition.

There was no conditioner or body wash in shower. The staff is lovely and the property is very clean and beautiful. The Christmas Decorations are a very wonderful touch. Nicely done.
