We love restored old hotels. Not this one.
Nice lobby, nice people. Great atmosphere. But too many little things wrong. Non-working thermostat, poorly flushing commode, commode too low, towel racks suitable for one towel only, insecure internet, limited power at the head of the bed

10/10 Hotel Recommend to EVERYONE
This hotel is a 10/10!!! We lp Ed the rooms. Very vintage and the radio playing upon entry jazz was so lovely! The toilets were pretty low set, so expect that when sitting down. The valet parking was a little late due to miscommunication from staff, but he was very apologetic and got our car swiftly upon check out! What really made the trip so amazing..... The from desk attendees!! They are the sweetest people you will ever meet. They have such awesome dining recommendations, and celebrated mine and my husband's anniversary upon check in! We will definitely be staying again!!

Will never stay
My experience at Hotel Lucia was disappointing from the start. When I checked in, the front desk lady kept asking me to confirm my phone number, but she repeated it in a strange format that didn’t match how I usually say it. Instead of verifying just the last few digits like most places do, she kept breaking it up and saying it incorrectly — four separate times. It made me feel like I was the one getting it wrong, even though she was the one saying it in a confusing way. It was an awkward and frustrating start to my stay. Then came “happy hour.” We were told there would be complimentary drinks from 5 to 6, so we showed up excited. The first drink was indeed free, but after that, drinks were $8 — and there was only one beer option available. When we asked about seltzer, we were told it wasn’t available because the person who changes the keg was on strike. That response made the whole place feel unorganized and poorly managed. Overall, I would give this hotel a 1 in customer service and employee experience. Between the uncomfortable check-in and the disappointing happy hour, it felt like a place that doesn’t value guests or take pride in its operations.

Great place!
Beautiful hotel, from the moment you walk in, friendly staff, clean rooms, and the price isn’t bad at all for what you are receiving.

Not Luxury
This hotel is marketed as a “luxury” hotel and it couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s an old building that is extremely dated and the furnishings need updated as well. Won’t be going back.
