Highly Recommend!
We enjoyed our tour with Backcountry Wine Tours. Jack was easy to work with and picked a great line up for us based on our preferences. He went out of his way to make our experience the best! Our driver Jai enhanced our experience with his knowledge and super fun personality. I would highly recommend using them as they are very knowledgeable of the area and the wines and put customer service at the top of priority!

A Great Wine Tour of the Willamette Valley
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our all-day joinable tour with Backcountry Wine Tours. There was just one other couple in our van, so the tour felt relaxed and intimate. (This is their typical tour size.) The very detailed pre-trip questionnaire we had completed ensured we would visit just the right boutique wineries for our interests. (Our favorite was Arlyn, but each offered a very different experience.) Our guide, Aron, who has worked in the wine industry, was very knowledgeable and shared lots of good information--including about unrelated topics like places to eat in Portland. He also picked up lunch for us at The Horse Radish in Carlton, so we could eat at one of the wineries and not waste time driving. We had the most incredible day with Backcountry Wine Tours! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, personalized, and so much fun. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Oregon wine country. They tailored the itinerary perfectly to our tastes, introducing us to a mix of hidden-gem wineries and well-known favorites, each with stunning views and unforgettable pours. The van was comfortable and spotless, and it felt amazing not to worry about driving so we could fully relax and savor every tasting. Never felt rushed. Lunch was delicious and thoughtfully planned, making the whole day feel extra special.
