Rafting trip was excellent. Our Guides were knowledgeable and pleasant. The RV site was also excellent. The food at the restaurant was very tasty.

The setting is fantastic for a group meet up to start a 3-day rafting trip on the Deschutes. The service in the bar - including drinks and food - was outstanding, and food was pretty good. The grounds are well-maintained and offered a lovely setting to relax and connect the night before our trip. The room was so-so, especially for the price. It cost $195 (including taxes) for a Thursday night. It was too much to pay a for a very small, noisy room, with no window privacy, (I had to have the blinds pulled on both windows while I was in the room). Had I known I would be on a boardwalk where other guests would march around until after midnight, slamming doors and talking loudly in adjacent rooms on both sides, I would have stayed elsewhere. For this room, on a busy evening, I feel rates should be reduced. Otherwise, the room was clean, the bed was fine, plenty of hot water, and I had just enough room to sort and pack my river and camping gear.

Imperial River Company rooms were comfortable, clean and provided a good nights sleep. The breakfast was good; just right for a day on the river fishing? They opened whenever you wanted to eat so it was just right. Staff was friendly and customer oriented. It was a great place to stay for fishing.

Relaxing get away in Maupin
Great new campground on the river in Maupin. Full hook up with a restaurant and bar on site and a beautiful green yard to play in.
