Bar, restaurant, great staff and excellent rafting!
The Imperial is a great place for families, groups and couples. The rafting on the Deschutes is fun and family friendly. The restaurant and bar are great- nice servers and good service. The rooms are generous with microwave, you can get a shared patio room and 4 C coffee maker. The Imperial provides a continental breakfast so you don’t have to make your own coffee. Beds were comfortable and so much better than our usual tent at Maupin City Park right next door. My only complaint was the very large window way high on the wall without any shading. Bring your eye shades if your plan is to sleep past sunrise.
Rustic and Comfortable
Quaint, cabin-like rooms that were clean and comfortable. The staff is pleasant and helpful and they offer a nice assortment of breakfast items. Great location for water activities like fishing and white water rafting and a restaurant conveniently located in the hotel. We would definitely stay again.
Great base for fishing on the Deschutes
Stayed 3 nights on a fishing trip on the Deschutes River, which runs right by the property. My White River room was clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge and small microwave. Sliding doors and screens opened onto a small outside seating area (my room was on the first floor) where I could watch the river go by across a wide expanse of grass, enjoy an evening cocktail and cigar. The continental self serve breakfast was adequate -- pretty much par for any motel free breakfast set up. There is a bar (which did not during my visit have a liquor license because it's under new management) that served limited fare until 7 pm. As the new owners get settled these hours may change. It's a pleasant space with indoor and outdoor seating. This hotel is popular with anglers, mountain and road bikers, and rafter/kayakers.
We stayed at the Imperial to attend Maupin Daze. Beautiful accommodations, very comfortable room and reasonable rates. Staff super friendly. Right on the river, and a gorgeous setting. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Great lodging with a view!!
This is the second year in a row that I have stayed at the Imperial River Lodge!! I go fly-fishing on the river and have had a great time both years! I can’t wait to do it all over again next year and will definitely stay at the Imperial River Lodge again.
