Reedsport

Reedsport is at the heart of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, the largest expanse of coastal sand dunes in North America.

In addition to hiking and dune buggy rides, visitors here enjoy crabbing and fishing at Winchester Bay, shopping at specialty stores and visits to the century-old Umpqua River Lighthouse. Every Father’s Day weekend, the town comes alive with the buzzing of chain saws for the Annual Oregon Divisional Chainsaw Sculpting Championships.
