Madras

Located about 45 minutes north of Bend, Madras is home to deep desert canyons, river gorges and other unexpected delights — an indoor aquatic center with a waterslide and a lazy river, a Saturday market in the summer, golf, hiking, and a skate park.

Madras is also a gateway to Culver, the home of the Cove Palisades State Park and Opal Springs. World-class fly-fishing as well as white-water rafting down the Deschutes River are just minutes away.
