Aurora

Though small in size, Aurora, founded in 1856, packs a historical punch.

It’s home to the state’s first registered National Historic District and has been rated one of the top 10 best antiquing towns in the nations. Easy to access but just off the beaten path, Aurora is surrounded by farmlands, wineries, galleries, championship golf and tasting rooms. This is a detour you might like taking.
