Mountain Biking Hot Spots in the Willamette Valley

August 29, 2017
The Willamette Valley is home to two areas recognized by the International Mountain Bicycling Association: the Black Rock trail system and Oakridge. Black Rock is located outside Falls City, southwest of Salem. It’s maintained by a great partnership between the Black Rock Mountain Bike Association and the Oregon Department of Forestry. More

Mountain Biking Hot Spots in Southern Oregon

Southern Oregon is home to multiple excellent mountain biking destinations in the Umpqua and Klamath National Forests. The North Umpqua Trail, designated an Epic Ride by the International Mountain Bicycling Association, is located 12 miles east of Roseburg. Eleven segments ranging from 3.5 to 15.7 miles long make up the full 79-mile trail length. The NUT offers a great mix of smooth rollers and technical descents through old-growth Douglas-fir forests — some trees more than 6 feet in diameter — plus bridge riding and several... More

With rolling singletrack-, freeride- and Enduro-style trails interspersed with man-made features, log rides, drops and gaps, the Gorge is a place you can keep coming back to. More

Mountain Biking Hot Spots in Central Oregon

There’s something for everyone on the trails that wind through Central Oregon. In Bend, dry, volcanic soil makes for smooth and fast riding most of the year. Rolling cross-country single-track that’s not technically difficult allows novice riders a chance at the good stuff, while still offering experienced shredders plenty of excitement at higher speeds.  More
