  Absolutely amazing food!

  So Between the Buns has been in our community since the 70s. That’s 50 years in Roseburg. They have always been the best Deli in Douglas County, maybe even the state. They have the best Reuben and hot pastrami sandwich’s. They also have daily specials that are fabulous. I love this place and have for years. Diana Parazoo

  Good sub

  Stopped in for a good meatball sub and a side salad. Was good and at a good price. Will say that it is a little dated inside but the service is really good.

  Get the bun special on sourdough roll

  Ignore the place itself and the decor. It's weird and makes zero sense. The bun special is the best item on the menu (think an Italian grinder but better). Staff is generally very friendly. Wait time isn't bad.

  Not many choices for good deli in Roseburg, so we tried Between the Buns because of the 4 star rating. Had doubts the minute we entered with the very out dated decor and run down look. Basically you build your own sandwich or get the one I️ ordered... the all meats and three cheese sandwich on sourdough. The sourdough was a normal bread you can get at the supermarket. Plain white sourdough. The meats were thin sliced and seemed to be nothing more than store bought, processed meats. Same with the cheese. The sandwich was large, but take off all the shredded lettuce and not so big. I️ guess I️ was just expecting something much more. I️ mean anyone can make a sandwich like this at home. In fact I️ could make something way better at home. And for way less than $10 they charge. No sandwiches on the menu... just you pick the bread, meats and cheeses. No creativity... just plain, blah sandwich. Sorry... this place has been around for a long time but I️ wouldn’t recommend it at all.

  Excellent salad and sandwich

  I've been modifying my diet to eliminate wheat products so I was looking for a good alternative. This place makes an excellent shrimp salad. Everything was fresh and it had a nice variety of ingredients. There was enough for two meals. My husband loved his sandwich. The people were friendly and the prices were average for a sandwich place. We plan to go back.
