This trailhead is hard to locate and lacks adequate signage, so to find it you will need a keen eye and a strong sense of adventure.
If you do find the trailhead you may have a feeling of satisfaction in knowing that you have found the access point to Hammer Creek Trail (#840), which is the ONLY official trail located in the Maury Mountains.
