This is an alternative trailhead to Broken Top Trailhead. The access road for this trailhead (Forest Road 370 to Forest Road 380, past Todd Lake) is very rugged, and high clearance 4-wheel drive vehicles are HIGHLY recommended. This is a heavily used trailhead and the public is reminded that wilderness permits are required.
Provides access to: Three Sisters Wilderness via a short trail from Crater Ditch trailhead and links up to the popular Green Lakes Trail.
This trail enters the Three Sisters Wilderness shortly after leaving the trailhead. Wilderness Permits are required for both day use and overnight stays from this trailhead.
