Good
They would not give a resident discount despite me renting a space at the RV park here in redmond. The course was super nice, just would have been nice to get a resident discount like every other course around here in central bend honors.

Good experience
The views were amazing. The greens were very fast. The pace of play was nice. I would come back and play this course again.

Great course to play, a definite learning curve.
Hi gang, Juniper was definitely on my list to play here in Redmond. Paid $80 w/cart for the privilege. Got paired up with a “6 times a week” player, who shared a little course advice. This course should generate a “playing tips” sheet or free course guidebook offering best playing advice for the newcomers to the course. I held my own playing (10 hdcp) but not knowing what’s “around the bend, or over the mounding” cost me. Scrub brush, lava rocks and Juniper trees align the sides of the fairway. Easy to walk thru these areas looking for balls. I showed up well before my assigned tee time and got out as a single Minimal warmup time. Kudos to the mgt for having a sign by Pro Shop door advising golfers of liquids being applied to greens. Golfers have the right to know this before they play and not enough courses care apparently. I inquired if the Pro Shop sells club stands (you stick in the ground to keep your grips dry) and they said they don’t bother selling them, too bad. Course layout follows the terrain, well maintained facility, bunkers groomed, greens fast but true. Don’t pass up this course. A bit pricy but worth playing. You’ll need to play it a few times to learn all the shortcuts to good scoring. Rich

Among favorite Central Oregon courses
Our foursome finished a memorable road trip with a round at Juniper. Course condition: superb. Staff: friendly and attentive. Course layout: challenging for low- to mid-handicap players. Highly recommend Juniper.
