See how much fun oceanview golf can be on the coast at Highlands Golf Course.

Great Course
Very well-maintained public golf course. Except for a couple of not too much of ocean view. Although it is a nine-hole course one can play it twice (at a discount) and play the full 18 holes. Some nice views and some challenging holes.

Golf with a view
Great 9 hole course. Very well kept. Price to play is very reasonable. Excellent pro shop. Very nice practice area. Highly recommend.

Very nice
Narrow fairways require straight shots but the course was in very good shape. There are a few bunkers that could be a chore to get out of(fortunately, I didn’t hit into any). Greens were favorable to putting without running pass the hole.

Needed rain gear but still had Fun!
We really enjoyed playing 18 here. Greens are excellent, fairways in good shape. Interesting layout and price is reasonable. Gotta walk here so don't bother if you need a cart. I hit from the whites with my husband..its not long. Would play again for sure.

Total disappointment
It's 9 holes - that's fine. We only had time for 9. We got there at 1:50 and at 2pm they have a special on - 18 holes for the price of 9. The indifferent and blank-stared guy at the pro shop said nothing to us about it. The only way we knew is that another person came in at the same time as us and got that deal even though he went out BEFORE us. Setting that aside as we weren't going to play 18 anyways we were already off to a bad start thanks to the indifferent service at the pro shop. We get to the first green and find out that they've been recently punched. It doesn't even look like they were sanded. I've NEVER paid full greens fees on a punched course and I've played on hundreds of courses worldwide. Furthermore you're always WARNED that you'll be going out onto punched greens. Ok - off we go. The course is short - really short. The longest hole was maybe 350 yards from the tips. No water hazards. A few bunkers. Lots of houses. No signs indicating hole number. No signs indicating yardage. The fairways were in decent shape. The tee boxes weren't even flat. You had to find a flat spot to tee off from. Some had side hill lies. When we finished I went in and told the person who was now manning the pro shop that we should have been told the greens were punched before being charged. He, too, simply stared blankly and said they were punched last week. Would NOT go back here under any circumstances.
