We made a quick stop in Brookings for a late lunch at this deli located in a convenience store. It’s situated a few blocks from the main street. We ordered grilled cheese sandwiches with ham, and they came with chip packets and a fountain drink. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions patiently. The food was reasonably priced, and we didn’t have to wait long for the order to be ready. The sandwiches were freshly made and quite good. And we sat at the only table outside the market and ate our sandwiches. Perfect quick lunch stop!

Cute place and very friendly staff. Sandwiches are large enough to share and come with a bag of chips and a small fountain drink. To go only there is no seating. We just didn’t care for the Italian sandwich. Just different than what we are used to.

Good Sandwiches
The sandwich shop is inside of a little store. When we arrived the guys that made the sandwiches had just left, so the store hours and the deli hours are different. However, the girl working at the store was super friendly and let us know that there were some sandwiches that were made the same day available. We got those and found out we could choose some chips and a fountain drink from the store. We all liked what we got.

Looks aren't everything
We were aiming for another restaurant in the area which was closed. We stumbled on this place which feels more fast food. We were pleasantly surprised. The food, service, and prices were great.

Weak Ruben
A lot of great sandwiches here but not my Ruben today. First of all, not grilled! Also, little sauerkraut, and not cut in half.
