Authentic Texas BBQ
We read the TripAdvisor reviews and knew we had to haveGoebel’s barbecue for dinner. We also read that they run out of food so we called in our order. What a fabulous kitschy place, So much to look at!
Laura packed up a pound of spareribs and a 1/2 lb of brisket beautifully. We sat outside on her picnic table and devoured. The meat just fell off the bones. Both were cooked with a fabulous rub and barbecue sauce on the side was delicious. Dinner was $22, it was more than we could possibly eat.
We looked at the menu and everything looked wonderful. She does tacos, sandwiches, banana pudding, sausage, turkey, soup, sides, salad… And even a daily special. We explained our quandary about lunch in Crater Lake & Laura beautifully packaged a deconstructed brisket sandwich to take on the road. She included a complementary salad that I can’t wait to try. I hope lunch makes it to Crater Lake and we don’t eat it first.
