4 hour stand off
I would like to tell you that a 71-year-old grandmother, who had just completed a year of fighting breast cancer, stood just inside the front entrance of Wings & Waves for four hours while her three grandsons enjoyed the park because she couldn’t accompany them without paying full admission for attractions she had no intention of using. But I can’t honestly tell you that. The truth is, I chose to stand there on principle. I had absolutely no intention of swimming, using the slides, or taking advantage of any of the attractions. I simply wanted to spend the day with my grandsons, watching them laugh and making memories together. Instead, I was expected to pay approximately $40 simply to walk through the gate and be with my family. I understand that every business has the right to set its own admission policies, and I respect that. But I also have the right to decide when a policy simply doesn’t make sense. So, for four hours, I stood just inside the front entrance near the front door while my grandsons enjoyed the park—not because I had to, but because I couldn’t justify paying full admission for services I never intended to use. My hope is that Wings & Waves will reconsider this policy. A reasonably priced spectator pass for grandparents, parents, caregivers, or anyone who simply wants to accompany their family without participating would make the park far more welcoming to families. I truly hope no other grandparent has to make the same choice I did.

Clunky & Not Helpful
The website and ticketing process is a joke at best. Tried to add a Boarding Pass (3 months) and a day pass for myself to my cart and 1) couldn’t get it to work and 2) the cart kept re-setting. At which point it is now after 10am and I no longer have the option to add a day pass for 10 am at all? Call for help and I’m told since it’s after 10am they can’t sell me a ticket anymore so I can either go at 3pm, or pay the walk up rate which is 25% higher! I tell them I’ve been trying to buy tickets for 45 minutes and it’s like oh yep you can’t add both to your cart at the same time you have to buy them separately. Is that information ANYWHERE on the website, of course not. So now I have a dumb 3 month pass, an excited kid, I’m here already and I have to pay a premium because their process is not transparent? This place better blow my mind.

A good fun time for all; don’t rely on their cafe for snacks or meals
Fun for all ages, nice big layout, clean facilities, lots of staff; disappointing cafe had slow service and 80% of the menu items were out. I got the sense that they no longer carry the items and need to update their menus or at least put a strike through what they no longer have.

Bad experience
Our family visited the water park in September and we have a very bad experience. My son fell and hit his head, but no timely help was provided. I approached the employee, explained the situation and asked for ice. He replied wait and continued to fill out something of his own on paper. Then he slowly asked for ice over the walkie talkie and we waited 10-15 minutes for it to be brought to us.They did not provide timely assistance, they do not care what is happening there, and usually in such cases a special form is drawn up, but they did not fill out anything.
