A great find!
What a great find on our way from the coast back to Portland. Although not on our radar, we spotted this museum on our way out of McMinnville to Portland. We were so impressed. From the Wright brothers plane to Howard Hughes, Spruce Goose, right up to today, the aircraft on display is unbelievable. We would recommend this as a destination rather than a drive by! It needs more recognition!

Thanks. No thanks
Wow! So over priced for what it has. Did they change the name to get away from the stigma of "Evergreen"? Have been there twice with free pass through library system. Would not go again due to price. Pima air museum is way more reasonable and has awesome displays. The building and some displays at evergreen were broken or run down. No thanks

Way more than I expected
You really can spend 2-4 hours here between the 2 buildings. So many planes to see, and I like that each sign includes the service history of that specific aircraft. I don't know that I would spend extra for the tour of the Spruce Goose - you can still walk into the center portion with regular admission. Hopefully the DC-3 will also be available on the day you visit - fun to compare to today's passenger planes. Don't miss the space section in the Titan building either.

Large Air Museum, lots of exhibits
Hidden gem of an air and space museum. We were on our way up from Depoe Bay to Portland and had a few hours to kill. My husband had also heard that the Spruce Goose was in a museum in Oregon…my happenstance, this museum was at a halfway point for us, and worked out perfectly. Glad we stopped. This is one of the best air museums I’ve been to (I’ve been to a lot). Large collection of planes, from old biplanes to modern jets. The space museum also has some nice exhibits. If you are into aviation, this is a definite stop. Especially to see the one of its kind, the Spruce Goose. I’m glad it found a good final exhibit space (after its move from Long Beach). Plane lovers need to stop!

High flying time
Great showing of planes throughout history. Up close view of the spruce goose! Behind the scenes tour of how they are restored was interesting. Give yourself at least 3 hours to take it all in.
