Must see for anyone interested in the fiber arts
Interesting center, and a must see for anyone interested in any of the fiber arts. Their exhibits appear to rotate frequently. There are looms that belong to the center, and they allow a local group to come in and weave projects. As visitors we were allowed to walk amongst them and visit with them about their projects. Very interesting.

A Relaxing Way to Spend Some Time
This is a great place to stop if you enjoy textile crafts. There is a fine display of weaving, a good selection of quilts on display - some of which are by featured artists, and a selection of needlework. There is a small charge for admittance, and you are able to purchase a variety of items. If you enjoy textile arts, be sure to stop in.

Quaint Shop
This little shop was a complete mixture crafts--looms, fabric (I think leftover from their projects) and quilting. The fabric is very reasonably priced and I bought plenty. If I lived close I'd be taking up weaving. Very friendly staff.

Disappointing to anyone other than real quilt fanatics.
This is located in an old schoolhouse, which is kind of interesting. There really isn't a whole lot to see here unless you are a real quilt fanatic and perhaps need to buy some specialized yarn or pattern or thread. There was only one room of finished quilts on display. Honestly, again, if you live and breathe quilts and quilting, this may be of interest to you. Otherwise, I think you will be disappointed.

Appointments
This site was the motivation for our excursion to Tillamook. While there were no active exhibits, which we knew, there was less to see than anticipated. Other reviewers have noted a couple of large rooms with quilts hanging, and some items for sale. What we did learn is that if one wanted to view the large number of quilts in another building on this site, one should make a request to do so many weeks in advance in order to make arrangements for a volunteer to be available.
