See the Spruce Goose!
This was a great trip. We did the tour of the Spruce Goose and it was well worth it if you appreciate history or this sort of thing. Our guide, Gary, was just phenomenal. Good space for kids to walk around that you dont have to worry too much.

A Must See if in McMinnville!
We enjoyed the Air Museum for a special Christmas light event. The museum was open until 9p, lowered the lights, and draped many of the aircraft with holiday lights. This gave the usual experience something extra. They also played Polar Express in the on-site theater. We try to enjoy the Air Museum when in McMinnville as they usually bring in a few new aircraft each year. The Space Museum was not open, but would have gone if it was. Recommend for sure!

Older flight and space exhibits + Spruce Goose
There are some interesting exhibits. Lots of informative displays. The Spruce Goose is massive, and you should visit at least once to see this! (Hard to believe this monstrosity could have actually flown - even once!) The reason for the three stars, is the layout of both the flight and space buildings is very confusing. They should have some signage (maybe lines on the floor??) to guide you. They have both set up from oldest to newest, but neither my husband nor I could figure out the order to walk to enjoy it this way. We just strolled around. I recommend one visit. Then decide if it holds enough interest to visit more than once.
