Food & Drink a Big No!!!
So, you think, let’s go to the casino, and we can grab a decent bite to eat and a glass of wine while we’re there gambling, but think again! They were out of all but two white wines shown on their menu in the restaurant. Surly responses as to why… supplier issues… take what you can get! Service lacking in the restaurant with the view. Tables sat after got service prior. It used to be good, but definitely better food and drink available elsewhere, which is where we went. Would have happily stayed and gambled away our kitty, but they were unable to provide what they said they had on offer, food and drink wise. It matters… decent food and drink equals longer stays and increased gambling time! I guess you could say they left money on the table rather than we did, haha, still have money in my pocket to spend elsewhere!!

Not a bang for your buck kind of place
Not too thrilled with the room. It was really really small and you could hear the other guests pretty clearly in the next room. I thought it rather high in cost too

60th Birthday!
I want to share my opinion. First I'm a educated female. 2 advanced degrees. But the minute they saw my wheelchair...my only option for handicapped is a basement room...where only view was the bottom of others guests feet. Seriously, only saw knees if they were children. But the prices were $30 dollars higher...because of the " handicap upgrades". It got so hard on my husband carrying me up the stairs, it ruined his trip as well. You all can laugh, about this...but I got proof and pictures...and a lawyer salivating for me to let him,off his leash. Wish I could score as "sh@$tty", terrible doesn't even come close. I'm researching ways for a refund...something I never do..

Dry camping for those who have more willpower than I.
RV dry camping. Should have stayed out of casino and in hotel instead but the food was fair, security were on it and the parking was fine. Lots of room. Lots of deer and crazy squirrels. I moved away from the shrubbery cause the squirrels were having a hay day jumping on my rv tailgates and underneath. They are crazy squirrels. The deer just couldn't care less and just meandered through the lot around the numerous RVs'. Overall just a parking lot but I definitely need to stay out of casino. Not really a free stay for me. LOL. The lemon drops were meh.

Chinook Winds - hard pass summer 2026
Just be aware that Chinook Winds is under construction. 2 of our 4 patio rooms had a chain link fence in front of our view. The construction noise was challenging at times. They had sidewalks and ramps blocked. The price when checking in was not the same as when I checked out, they didn't capture all charges. They do not follow ADA requirements, nor do they try to provide you a room (person with walker) closest to a ramp as they don't need to accomodate disabilities in the hotel portion of their units. The weather was gorgeous, couldn't beat it. But, if you are planning a beach trip this summer, you may want to find another option. This hotel doesn't assign rooms until you check in but it won't matter if you are early. They are overwhelmed and customer service is non-existent.
