This trailhead is located just to the east of the old Broadway Lava Flow, and it provides access to the western terminus of Keeton Trail (#815). Although the two trails in this area (Keeton Trail #815 and Barnhouse Trail #813) do not make a complete loop, portions of Forest Service Road 2630 can be hiked to connect the trailheads. Additionally, since the trailheads in this area are relatively close it is easy to work out a shuttle and hike one-way if you have a partner. The parking area here is limited so please plan vehicle travel accordingly.
