Celebrate the discovery of gold at the 60th annual Bohemia Mining Days festival with this year’s theme, "Every Trail Tells a Tale." Entertainment at the festival includes a carnival, multiple parades, historical talks and tours, live music and performances, a costume contest, a treasure hunt, Gold Rush runs, kids rides and games and so much fair food. The festival celebrates the colorful history of Cottage Grove, All-America City and Covered Bridge Capital of the West. Coiner Park hosts more than 70 vendors, live music and living history demonstrators such as a fur trader, blacksmith and gold miners, while Bohemia Park holds the carnival. Other locations throughout the city also feature special happenings, including the community center, City Hall, the Gold Mining Museum, Cottage Theatre and more.
