Worth the drive, excellent service and Spirits

Interesting spirit selection, all very tasty. We had a group of 7 family members so we were able to share and taste most of their spirits. Painted Lady Gin, and the Blanco Agave were my favorites, while the whiskey, reposado agave and Absinthe were my son's . They also have small cocktails as an option. Multiple flavored vodka as well, the Chai was my favorite of the vodkas.

Can't Beat Pilot House Products

I love their products and visit them every time I get to Astoria. The "liquor meister" can be a little offputting (smug, for lack of a better word), but I expect some of that at craft industries like distilleries & wineries in Oregon ... I'm a life-long Oregonian and I KNOW how seriously people take their creations here! I've met some staff at microbreweries with serious attitude that could put someone like Russell Crowe or Mel Gibson to shame!

Not Cool

Not terribly impressed, there was only one other couple in the place when we arrived and our hosts attention seemed to be focused primarily on them. His attitude seemed to be one of condescension, after all he had been a master chef in the past. The alcohol was just okay, nothing to write home about, but still came with a premium price. I sampled two whiskies and a vodka, first whiskey was just mediocre, the second was good but way over priced for what was. The jalapeno lime vodka was really good, still over priced. WE WONT BE BACK

Great distillery with a variety of products. Enjoyed the tastings and it is a rare one that serves absinthe! Every couple months I travel through Astoria and stop there. Can't wait for their ocean aged whisky to come out in the near future.

A must stop for those who love whisky

Stopped after recommendation from a Cannon Beach Distillery. This area of Astoria has a real liquor center going on! Pilot House has a great tasting room, although not all items of interest were available to taste (no gin). Purchased the crafted in Astoria, Oregon A-O American Whisky and everyone we've served it to has been impressed. Check hours as opens at noon.
