My wife and I had an amazing lunch here, and it completely exceeded our expectations! We shared the Plate o' Love corned beef hash plate, which was fantastic, but the real star of the show was the crème brûlée French toast. The slice of crème brûlée soaked in vanilla custard with that perfect caramelized sugar crust was absolutely incredible. There was a line to get in, but it is definitely worth the wait. The service was incredibly gracious, the atmosphere is charming and quaint, and the food is unforgettable. We cannot wait to come back for this experience again!

Have always wondered why always a line waiting to get to the dor, finally a parking spoy (very few) and no line! Up I went, the waiting area was very small and crowded, name was taken and told it would be 2.5 hour wait! asked others and they said that was normal wait time, but food was excellent... so I waited, only 1.25 hours as I was solo and could eat at the bar... Yaay. food was about same as anywhere, but had a BAR w/cocktails etc. No breakfast or morning drink is worth an hour plus wait and hostess was not very smiley... never again!

I had “Heavenly Veggie hash”, “…broccoli, peppers, zucchini, cabbage, onions, pan fried yukon golds, diced roma tomatoes, grilled artichoke hearts, fresh fruit” ($21). B had Eggs potato toast ($16). I didn’t like the coffee. The service and server were excellent.

Totally ridiculous prices
Just a quick question.......why is it that a breakfast consisting of two eggs, potatoes and toast cost $16.00????? This is ridiculous. There comes a time when the public has to put an end to the "madness" and say, I am not eating out anymore. As my grandma used to say, THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible, appallingly bad
I've been eating here for 8 years, anytime I'm in Salem. The service is usually wonderful and everyone is friendly and kind. I was in town for a big conference today and I told everyone that I saw, to go to WOM for lunch. I regret that now and I will be updating them all tomorrow and telling them not to bother. The servers and hostesses today seemed to have major attitude and were not friendly like normal. Even getting my name onto the list was a horrible experience. I had to ask at least 3 times, the hostess needs to be trained to get her list going and THEN seat tables so guests aren't standing around awkwardly blocking the door. Many other people were complaining about the wait time, I told them all "stay! It's so good! Worth the wait!" Well, I spoke too soon. Our server was lovely and the food was good as always. I think our server went on break after our food was delivered because we never saw her again. No refills of our drinks or refill of water. I put my card down on the table and someone offered to run it for me. I asked her for two boxes and when she brought my card back, asked for a side of ranch to-go. She caught major attitude and informed me it would be 75 cents. Ok. Our bill for 2 people was $70. I don't care about the 75 cents, clearly. But her attitude was so awful. She had my card in her hand and looked at me like "are you going to pay" I said "you have my card. Feel free to run it again." I was very bothered by her attitude and after my drive home, I called and asked for a manager. I'm not sure who got on the phone but she didn't seem very professional, and also didn't seem like she cared about a long-time, loyal customer. Doubt I'll go back any time soon. The staff have gone way downhill and it wasn't a pleasant experience overall. At least the food was good. Update: I replied to their survey with exactly the text above. This is the reply I received. I certainly did not berate or use expletives towards anyone. I had my 13 year old daughter with me. This reply is atrocious and appalling and I’m not surprised to see so many recent 1 star reviews, including about the manager. Horrible.
