Great Lunch
Enjoyed the coconut curry butternut squash (sweet), one special seasonal salad (best) and one on the menu salad and both were fresh with nice proportions. Very nice and clean restaurant where the employees were joyful.

A long wait
It was busy on a Saturday. We waited at least 15 minutes to get seated inside, the real waiting started after we got seated. It took at least 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring water. We waited another 15 minutes to take our order, once we placed our order we waited 40 minutes to get our food. I get they’re busy but the place was pretty empty by the time we got sat. The food was excellent. The best French dip I’ve had in Salem and I loved the roasted red peppers they add on it and the fries were hand cut and the ranch was delicious. Service was good enough. I would come back during the week when it’s not as busy.

the food is great and I enjoyed historic part of Salem. Qid Pear is located in a vintage building. The salads and appetizers are really good. I recommend this place to travelers

So delicious
The decor and vibe are upbeat and current. It felt like a place I’d want to own if I were to own a place and food I’d want to serve to people I like. It was totally yum.
