We had the corner booth with a great view of haystack rock and the beach. Enjoyed a nice cold martini, tasty steamer clams, wedge salad and clam chowder, and fish and chips. Big portions and everything was perfect. Only took off one star because the windows were dirty with fingerprints and there was a cucumber and cobwebs I. The windowsill. Shout out to stormy the hostess and Skylar the server. Great job!

We’ve been coming here for about 7 years now…and today was definitely the best overall experience. The food and service were seriously great. We shared an order of clam chowder, clams, and a warm crab baguette that we dunked in the broth from the clams ❤️🤙 Thanks for a great experience!

A pleasant meal
The Wayfarer is a short walk from Canon Beach. We had to queue for a little while before being seated but the wait time was very much acceptible. It had quite a lively atmosphere. The food was pleasant but nothing outstanding. Our server really elevated the experience - he was very engaging and gave us plent of recommendations on places to visit whilst we were in the area. I would say it was on the more expensive side for but not bad value.

Great view, nice dinner
We made a reservation and were seated right away by the friendly host. We ordered the calamari to start and it was very good. My husband ordered the halibut and I had the clam bake. The halibut was very good. My clam bake was good, but the crab was a little over cooked, but everything else in the bake was perfect! Really enjoyed the flavors.

Don’t go on a Friday night, even with a reservation, we had to wait. Will go mid week, next time. It’s a good standby restaurant. If you can set close to the windows, they have a nice view.
