Very nice location, I have been there with my family, and I have to say every year that we go the food gets better. We had filet Minong; Salmon, and cocktails, cream Burle for dessert. The chef even made a special menu during COVIT when we visited for my birthday, great service. The price is totally worth. We made reservations since it is a very popular restaurant and didn't wait too long to eat. The astrosphere is family and couples oriented. What a great experience.

My oldest daughter was celebrating her 40th B-day and wanted to make a big deal of it. So my wife called the restaurant 4 weeks before the B-day to arrange a group of 9 to eat dinner. My wife asked for something nice and away from the bar. She was assured a table by the fireplace would be made available. We arrived at the set day & time. We were seated in the bar. My wife told the hostess of the promised fireplace table when the reservation was made. The response was simply along the lines of âI donât know anything about itâ. I donât know if we were being seated by the hostess, waiter, or manager but there wasnât even an attempt to correct or apologize. We reluctantly took a seat. Within a few minutes a waiter came over and asked for drink orders. We ordered non-alcoholic drinks- I am sure that created a negative response from the waiter. My wife asked the waiter to split up the check and to include our daughter and her family on our check. The waiter said he would not split plates. My wife said she wasnât asking to split plates but to bill each couple separately. The waiter said âno we donât do that. We will have one checkâ. My wife explained one check would not work between the other couples. The waiter said we could sit at separate tables. With that we all stood up and headed for the door. I understand our group wonât stop their business but as we left my son in law asked a female that looked like the manager if they were interested in correcting the issue. In short, there was no response. Not even a âWe are sorry and hope you visit us another timeâ. Iâll never give my money to this business nor return, not even for a free meal. I hope any reader of this review has a better experience but be forewarned.

Good food and lovely people
We were there on Labor Day, so give them a break for that. There are no reservations at lunch and at 2:00 p.m. the wait was pushing 45 minutes. Since one draw for this place is the views and the patio, which did not matter to us, we asked about sitting in the lounge. No problem, and we were seated right away. Kyle took great care of us and the food varied from very good (the fish and chips and huge green salad) to okay (the crab cakes). Being at the window looking to the patio, we had great people watching and a glimpse of the beach. All in all it was a good choice.
