Great burger and soup
My husband and I split a burger…I’m glad we did. It was huge! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I got a bowl of baked potato soup that was really good. My husband got a salad but I was so full from the burger that I didn’t try it. We were just driving around the area to see if we might like to live around there. Knowing there is a good restaurant is a big plus as far as I’m concerned. Darn, I wish I would have gotten a dessert to go because I’m sure it would have been good. Next time we are near Dallas, we will definitely go back.

Best French Dip I have ever had!
I went to the Washington Street Steakhouse & Pub for lunch, with a colleague, yesterday, 6/10/21. I ordered the French Dip, expecting the usual, same ol sandwich. Well, let me tell you, this sandwich was above par! And it all stems from the meat! The meat was sliced thicker than you would normally find on a French Dip. But MAN, was it tender! From the first bite, to the last, the beef was perfect! Warm & tender and delicious! That was my second visit and I look forward to going back SOON! If the roast beef is that good, I can only imagine how good their steaks are!

Delicious
Had the smoked tri tip for hunny and Maui chicken for me. DELICIOUS!" The tri tip was better than most prime rib. Perfect portion, perfectly cooked". Great value and service was fast and friendly. We love this place.

Decent Steaks & Sandwiches, Open For Breakfast Too
I have eaten here several times, and this place is a solid choice for a meal in Dallas. The staff are friendly and food is cooked to order, always served fresh and warm. Nice selection of draft beers to get you started while your meal is being prepared. Good salads, sandwiches & wraps. My most recent visit, I had Tri-Tip with veggies & a Ninkasi Pilsner, it was all good. Ate outdoors in a heated tent due to Covid restrictions. Off-street parking available, I will be back.

Redneck diner
When we first went there, we were told that it had "great atmosphere and good steak" We walked in and saw that almost every customer was obese, wearing t-shirts with rude saying,s, It smelled like a greasy diner and looked like I had walked into my old school lunch room. The steak. Okay. Nothing to write home about. Went back a year later to see if it had changed. NO. Still a greasy spoon with a fancy title.
