Very nice meal downtown.
Stopped in on a Wednesday evening around 6:30. No wait. Ordered drinks, lavender martini and a chocolate manhattan. Very nice! I had the salmon with risotto, cooked perfectly! Why wife and friends had the macadamia crusted fish and they were delicious. Finished off with crème brûlée. Great meal tonight!

Delicious food, excellent service!
This restaurant is a storefront, and is not, at first glance, fine dining. Do NOT mistake the ambiance! The food is very, very good. The brisket perfectly cooked, comes with an outstanding sauce, real mashed potatoes, and delicious roasted Brussels sprouts. The chicken and gnocchi listed on the menu, seem like a great choice… until it arrives! Excellent in presentation, portion, and, yes, homemade, melt-in-your-mouth gnocchi. Amazing meal for bone-weary travelers. We were treated like hometown regulars. Great spot!

Not living up to their reputation
The service was ok, but by no means stellar, which one would expect from a fine restaruant. The food was very disapointing. I ordered a med rare stake, it was raw. The "loberster" mac n cheese had not lobster in it; I did find a shrimp tail. There was not supposed to be shrimp but lobster in the mac n cheese. There was very little shrimp, just enough to add a little, and I mean little, flavor and no lobster. This was an improperly cooked, improperly advertised $50 meal. Very disapointing. My partners meal was better, but not the gourmet quality you would expect from this restaruant.

Just Not the Same!
We have eaten here for many years and have always been very happy. The restaurant has changed hands and it is not the same. The menu is very limited, with 6 different fish dishes, 2 beef dishes and 2 pasta dishes. There isn't much that is the same as it has been for all these years. The service is good, the atmosphere is great and the wines are good. We are not returning here.
