Quintessential American Diner
Tommy's, at least for breakfast, is perfectly decent and quintessential American diner. Nothing fancy, but the place is clean and well-lit (looks better on the inside than the outside). The service is cordial and prompt. The menu is fairly broad, featuring typical breakfast fare: eggs, hash browns, assorted skillets. Food is good, portions ample. With a $5 off coupon from the Hotel Corvallis, two entrees and two coffees came to $35.

Never disappoints
Always the best food and best service. Friendly folks. In the past I’ve had breakfast here. This time I tried a triple decker club sandwich and homemade chips. Sandwich was above average and the homemade chips were insanely good. Keep up the good work folks.

great basic diner for breakfast
great breakfast . Staff was friendly and service was quick. Stayed next door at a motel that gave us a $5 coupon. Better than those blah things you get at many motels. We had a great breakfast for our drive that day. I would return, next time we stay in Corvallis.

Good food and great service in this unpretentious diner/bar.
Really enjoyed this place! During our stay at the adjacent Hotel Corvallis, Tommy’s functioned essentially as the lobby restaurant. We had 2 breakfasts and a dinner there - including Saturday night prime rib, and Philly steak sandwiches. Great service every time - and ample portions kept the teenagers happy. Definitely has a small town vintage diner vibe. Would definitely been visit again.

Better & Worse Places To Eat
I ordered a Taco Salad to go off an menu I saw online dated 9/2022. When I went to pay for my order, the blonde waitress said an amount more than I had seen online. I was a bit taken aback, and told her the price I had seen online was less. She offered me a current "to go menu" which I took and went on my way. As I was walking away I looked at the menu she had given me and the price was the same I saw online. I went back and told her the price I saw was matching. She was surprised and said she was thinking of the other salads. She refunded the dif but told me "to go orders" had a 50 cent charge. I asked if that was listed on the menu and she replied, she didn't think so. Despite her ineptness, I took the dif, told her she could keep her menu and left. The salad was just OK. A bit more beef and less lettuce would have been nice. Will I be back...? Probably not. Would I refer...nope.
