Very Good Japanese Food.
We had the Maui Bento Box which has chicken teriyaki, rice, salad and tempura vegetables. The food was excellent with very good service! We really liked the shoestring style tempura vegetables. A great place! Very clean and the staff are great as well.

A must if you like Japanese food
This place was a wonderful experience. Clean as can be, and of course, the food was amazing. I got the angry bird sushi, fried veggies, and tuna sashimi - which I had never had before and was reluctant to try, but glad I did... It is kind of small on the inside, but the furniture and choice of decor contrasts well with the surroundings and makes it feel larger than it is. This place is on my top 5 to recommend anyone visiting Coos Bay. There's a small lookout and dock across the street for folks who haven't been here...

Tasty and fresh
We are hard to completely please when it comes to sushi since our best restaurant is back east in Maryland. However, we had a tasty meal here. We especially enjoyed the large size of the nigiri pieces. We just wish that the unagi (eel) was cooked a bit longer.

Great Japanese varieties
Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary! Food very good service excellent. Only critical comment was vegetable tempura. Vegetables were shoestring. I prefer to have thin slices thst are easy to dip. Also no sweet potatoes in vegetable tempura. Otherwise, a great place!
