Will never give them my business!!
On Saturday, October 3, 2020 we were in Manzanita for our daughters 16th birthday (we drove down from WA). We asked her where she wanted to eat for dinner, she said the Pizza Garden. We looked them up and their hours stated they were open until 8:00pm and that they had inside dining. We got there at 7:10pm, waited at the walk-up window for a few minutes. An employee came to the window and asked how she could help us. We asked to eat inside, there were only 3 of us and there was literally no one else there. She said hold on, came back and said that they were closing soon and it was by reservation only. It was 7:15, they close at 8. Very disappointing, especially since most small businesses are struggling right now, you would think they would be jumping at having people wanting to eat at their place. It's okay though, we went up the street to Wanda's Cafe and Bakery! They also closed at 8, but welcomed us inside, took our order and we ate out on their back patio. Great food and customer service. Sorry not Sorry Pizza Garden, you have lost our business and we will be sure to tell our local friends and family our horrible experience.

Good pizza
The pizzas were good, but not great. We were traveling in the area and needed to feed 7 people so we ordered 2 large pizzas for take out. Both pizzas were enjoyed by the crowd. Price seemed a bit high but The Pizza Garden is located in a vacation area, so prices tend to be a higher there.

More Than Just Pizza
There seems to be inconsistency based on the reviews, but we did not experience the concerns of others. We did take out one night, ate in the restaurant the next week, and had good pizza both times. The second night one of us had the incredible sea food lasagna. From the street this might not be a place you would stop. Once inside, you find a great atmosphere, with a wonderful view of the river and island beyond. There is inside seating, or out on the deck during nice weather. More than pizza, with many different selections, there is also Italian on the menu. Some of the pizzas have additional options, such as the Hawaiian with not just pineapple, but also mandarin orange at no extra cost if you choose. We found the pizza to have ample toppings. The prices are slightly below market for this area. When we are back in Nehalem, we will be back.

Come to this gem!
Stumbled on this absolute gem by accident. What a fantastic find! Started with pumpkin pear soup, divine. We followed with asparagus and crab lasagna superb is an understatement. Everything is handmade on site. Service is excellent and friendly. You deserve to treat yourself to this gem.
