What a treasure right across campus in Corvallis. My wife & I were greeted into a friendly atmosphere the moment we stepped through the door. We came for their renowned red curry & it was dee-licious - we'll be back for more! The menu has a great variety, and they'll customize veggies & meat per your desire on many of the dishes. Portions are just right for 2, with a bit left over to take home. Pricing is great, especially for student budgets. Cash only. Our new GoTo restaurant whenever we're in Corvallis.

I usually skip a review if it is going to be bad. The very limited service is not the issue. Rather, below mediocre food at an inflated price, the lack of any pleasantries in decor- dismal atmosphere, and unfriendly staff are the problems. I've eaten Thai food from Asia to North and South America. This establishment is just pitiful.

Thai cusine is a favorite so I took a local recommendation to eat here. I had fresh rolls, pad Thai and Thai tea. I used one of two sauces from the fresh rolls for the Pad Thai as it was dry and rather tasteless. Food delivery was speedy though I would have happily waited longer for a tastier lunch. I will not return.

Disappointed
I found this restaurant run down (tables chipped, barely wiped) and wait staff not customer friendly. After my order was delivered I didn't see them again until I was long ready to pay my bill. What should have cost $12 was priced at $19. Needless to say, I won't be returning. If I had to guess, this restaurant will be closing soon or going under new ownership who will be hard pressed to do worse.

Tarn Tip is a well established Thai restaurant near campus here in Corvallis. They offer a wide selection of traditional authentic Thai dishes. (I served in Thailand when in the USAF and Tarn Tip is the real deal.) Be advised that they do not serve alcohol. All in a all a great place.
