Combo plate
Had the combo plate came with three items tamale enchilada, and taco taco was absolutely loaded with meat. Overall, I would put it in the category. If I would go back it was very good. Tamale was probably my least favorite of the three items.

Friendly people prompt service
We've been coming to this place for years. Never had a bad meal. This time I had chicken flautas, rice and beans. Someone else had an enormous "wet burrito". Others had crispy tacos and soft tacos. This is not your fancy restaurant; this is just good food in a friendly atmosphere, delivered with a smile.

One of our favorites!
You can't go wrong here! It's not fancy, but it's pleasant and professional. Plus, most importantly, the Mexican food is uniformly excellent! This is one of the few places in town that everyone in our family can always agree on. It's very economical, too.

Best in Corvallis
We tried the pork chile verde, cabeza, and carnitas, as well as a chile relleno and caldo de pollo. The meats were all flavorful and juicy, and abundant--there was enough on each taco to make two tacos. The soup was served with a plate of cilantro, onion, lime, red pepper, and oregano so you could add garnishment to your liking, but the broth was already flavorful enough on its own. The tortillas served with the soup were fried on a griddle and not just heated through in a microvave or oven, which I appreciated because this method finishes cooking the tortilla, gives them a better flavor, and is the best way to serve them, in my opinion. Chiles were very large and stuffed with cheese, and the batter was light and nicely fried. This is not a Tex-Mex restaurant, so tacos are not served on crispy shells with sour cream and cheese unless you ask for them to be. The check did not come out before we were finished eating--while this is unusual in the States, it reminded me of being in Mexico, where you have to ask for the check because bringing it to the table unsolicited might be seen as trying to get customers to hurry through their meal. We paid at the front counter and didn't feel rushed at all. Servers were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice selection of Mexican beers as well as horchata and margaritas. We loved the festive atmosphere and the fact that you can order tamales by the dozen to take home. They also make churros! This is our regular Mexican food spot now.

FINALLY !!!! Great Mexican Cuisine
After suffering through 2+ years of disappointment in the Mid Valley Mexican Food Scene, I finally found the real deal. This was my second visit. Authentic Mexican Cuisine, prepared by Authentic Mexicans!!!! It was heaven on a plate. Best Chili Relleno I've had in any US restaurant. Properly stuffed and breaded, deep fried and smothered in an amazing, chunky sauce full of all the right veggies and seasoning. A nice edge of heat that allows for you to enjoy every component. Had a Regular Carnitas burrito without the rice, beans , sour cream or guacamole. They have no place in a real burrito. Just the pico de gallo. Wife had a Chili Relleno and a ground beef taco and was equally amazed. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE !!!! I'm going to graze the entire menu.
