We've had vegan tacos at many places, but they tend to be skimpy on the fillings and lack flavor. Tacovore's vegan tacos were full of the listed toppings and absolutely delicious. The price was also reasonable. We were not impressed with their fish tacos or their margaritas. That's how we ended up giving this place four out of five green circles.

With 3 locations around the state, Tacovore is your local small Business chain exclusive to Oregon. Available in Eugene, Portland and Corvallis. As the name suggests Tacos Galore... They do have other items as well. This place gets packed. Looks like its a popular spot with the locals. By the time we left there were no empty seats in the house. The venue is a good size and there is plenty of parking. There is also a decent outdoor dining area in the back. The staff is friendly and helpful, they may get overwhelmed a bit at times, they never brought out the requested extra chips, we had to get it ourselves. #Tacos: ~ Seafood Taco - 4.5/5 This thing was stuffed with Scallops and Mango pieces. No complaints from me. Scallops were lightly fried...hence the description; "Tempura Bay Scallops" Loaded, Crunchy and Savory. good stuff. ~ Carnivore Taco (Bacon-Cheeseburger) 3.5/5 This sounded better on paper. Looks like it was missing some Beef...lol. They definitely skimped on the Beef on this one. I couldn't even taste the Bacon. It was OK. The Fried Pickled Cucumber stood out the most...lol ~ OLD E. - 3.5/5 I thought I ordered the "OLD E." Whatever I got didn't exactly match the description. Where is the Hard Shell?! Not to mention they skimped on the meat on this one. Flavor was decent tho... I've been here before, and I thought the Tacos were a bit on on the pricey side. The prices have only gone up since then...like everywhere else. Food Inflation is ridiculous. Overall 3.5 *** rounded up to 4****

Tacovore has an Upbeat & Fun Atmosphere, Freshly made Chips & Salsa, great Tex Mex food and Excellent Margaritas! Especially, the Raspberry Jalepeno! I'd heard a lot about this place and I am glad that I gave it a try tonight. Theres a Happy Hour from 3-5 too, apparently that is very popular!

Incentive and healthy tacos
Delicious, inventive Mexican food with a healthy California twist. Taco salad with the spices toasted pumpkin seeds was a delight as was the sturdy flan with non dairy (coconut milk) whipped cream. Inside and outside eating with ample parking. For vegans, vegetarians and carnivores.

My overall experience with Tacovore has always been “eh”, but I decided to give the Corvallis location a try. I previously tried their food in Eugene and found the meat tacos disappointing, but was to that their veggie tacos and vegan tacos were good. The cauliflower itself on the cauliflower taco was good, but the rest of the taco was flat and flavorless, the smoked tofu tasted like a few different flavors that didn’t at all mix well, and the smoked tempeh fell flat and flavorless as well. If you want gourmet tacos with a pop of flavors, go to Tacovino. This place seems like a poor imitation.
